She was born at 1:17 am on Sunday, August 10th, 2008, after 9 hours of incredibly painful but all natural labor and birth. She was 7 pounds and 7 ounces, and just short of 21 inches long.
My birthing team was utterly amazing. J was at my side the entire time, as was my friend R, and their calm support and love helped me keep it together and labor at home for as long as possible. We arrived at the hospital around midnight, and the baby was born just over an hour later. We managed to be get checked out and get back home by Sunday afternoon, which was great.
